June from Beaujolais Beads has just given me a Sunshine Award! Getting it really is a little bit of sunshine in the day.
June and Ken at Beaujolais Beads produce absolutely gorgeous handmade lampwork beads, always in fresh, incredibly vibrant colours. Just look at these: Sweet Lime (June also makes fantastic chainmaille – award-winning, even.)

I’ve just finished off my last bag of the most perfect chocolate food in the world. It’s very sad
Mainly because to get more, I have to go through mail order and pay largish postage charges. On the other hand, it’s worth it: it’s akin to a Crunchie, but more chocolatey, more lush, gooier and crunchier all at the same time. And, of course, it’s vegan:
Golden Crunch
The Vegan Store – where it’s sold – is awesome in terms of bringing Cola Bottles and Mini-Eggs to the vegans. It’s expensive, yes, but unfortunately a lot of vegan non-essential foods are too. One of the ‘perks’ of being vegan I guess
Erm…here ends my ode to chocolate.
Hey, I got post today! I’m aware that sounds dull, but when you don’t get any for a while you start to miss it.
My copy of Beads and Beyond came through, and with it, my first appearance in a magazine. That’s actually a giant over-statement: my polymer clay beads, on sale at Big Bead, Little Bead appeared on the B&B Twenty to Make feature as part of an earring pair, but regardless, I was unreasonably pleased!
(They’re number 14 of the Feb 2010 Issue if anyone has a copy)
===========
I’m trying to overcome the urge to unboast right about now, and to do the stereotypically British thing of critizing myself. It’s a hard habit to break, but I have to think of it as marketing
